Months of memory, identity, and credentials — locked inside one framework’s storage. One breaking change and it’s gone. agent-life backs up, migrates, and restores your agent’s complete state across any supported runtime. An open-source format and sync service, with zero-knowledge credential encryption.
Security — every sync artifact is encrypted in transit and at rest. Credentials are encrypted on your own device with keys only you hold, so the sync service stores ciphertext it cannot read. Both are specified in the format spec.
The first thing we’ve shipped, not the last — more tools for engineering teams on complex, regulated products are in development.
How we work
We're a small independent studio. We ship one thing properly before starting the next, we build in the open, and we'd rather publish a format anyone can implement than own a proprietary one.
agent-life started from a problem worth solving properly: an agent accumulates months of memory, identity, and credentials, and every bit of it is trapped inside whichever framework created it. There was no portable way to move any of it — so we're building one.
